what do you think it would take to increase ostrich racing popularity in the united states? i mean how much fun does this look??

Have you seen the movie Swiss Family Robinson? It was made back in 1960 I think, and I absolutely loved it as a kid. If you had come over and it was on, I woulda made you watch it. They totally have a race where one of them rides an ostrich, and I have ALWAYS wanted to do this!!!! Alas, I have not yet done so. But this is the second or third time that movie has come up this month... methinks I need to watch it!
i'm pretty sure watching Swiss Family Robinson was a requirement if you wanted to go play at the Hagan's house. It's been a while (like since YOUR HOUSE) but I do kinda remember the ostrich races. It looks so freakin' fun!!!
Oh yeah... I soooo have to watch that movie again this week!!! A friend of mine here in SB had never seen it, and I made him start watching it a few weeks ago. We only got 20/30 min into it. But yeah, they have an race, and one rides an ostrich, one rides a zebra, the mokey rides a dog, etc!!! Oh and the little boy rides an elephant! Wow, gotta love that movie!
